Cmq, all'epoca fu pubblicata come 2° singolo inedito da una raccolta dei Prefab Sprout, forse più noti in Italia per altre 2 o 3 canzoni.

Siccome, ho sempre guardato in primis ai prodotti musicali realizzati al di fuori dell'Italia, e dando un occhio di riguardo a quel ke si piazzava nelle charts U.K. singles & albums, forse per tale motivo questa canzone ti è sconosciuta.

Personalmente credo che la canzone migliore di quest'anno (salvo capolavori realizzati nei prossimi 5 mesi), sia :

“Viva la Vida” dei Colplay. [SM=x829800]

Grandissima canzone!
Bellissima musica, bello anche il testo, dopo lo metterò anche tradotto in italiano.
Grande numero 1 nella classifica singoli in mezza Europa, anche negli Stati Uniti new entry direttamente al numero 1 e non capitava ad un gruppo britannico da qualche decina d'anni, una cosa simile.
Da sottolineare l'inesistenza di un videoclip ufficiale di questa canzone.
Esiste solo una breve presentazione di 35 secondi, il resto che si trova su Youtube, sono solo video di montaggi.

Ho scelto questo, dove c'è il testo e l'audio è accettabile.

Traduzione in italiano:

E finalmente dopo qualche mese, torno a segnalare una canzone degna di nota.
Certamente non ha lo stesso valore di quella dei Coldplay, ma siccome è un remix di una canzone del 1990 che ricordo molto bene, appena ho visto il suo piazzamento in Uk, (3° posto), ho voluto vedere il video e ascoltarla in questa nuova versione:
